u know what's funny, my camera said it couldn't do that in the manual, but when i tried it, it was actually able to zooom, weird...

I never noticed that you use both your left and right hand for a backhand throw. I wish i could do that so my right shoulder could rest and not get injured

On Accident I found out I could throw left handed when I was playing a Disc Golf Hole that I felt could only be thrown lefty and when I threw the lefty drive it was a nice one. The rest is history :) I guess I think about Disc Golf so much I was able to flip the switch in my head and mirrow my righty throw left handed.

doesn't that camera have zoom?

It is a digital camera that I carry with me on the course that also takes video. The zoom has to be set before filming. Once the video starts no zoom is possible.
