  • See the Dorba site for other mtb trails in the area (a couple near Denton and Mckinney. The Ray Roberts Greenbelt is a jeep road near the SG trail, out-and-back. You can make it as long as you want by walking half and turning around (10miles out).

  • Ok, well if you need any help getting back into biking, send a message. I live 1/2 hr from there and love bicycles. I fix a lot, sometimes at the trailheads, so people get them out of their garages and keep riding. You can always post an update on the weather and trail conditions at VVVVVV *DORBA*ORG

  • I am not riding very fast because the camera is not really made for mounting to moving vehicles. Still you can see most of the trail (sister loop) on this and the following video.

  • I haven't biked in years and haven't done any serious hiking in 20 years when I used to climb mountains in Colorado. I live in McKinney and was looking for a different place to take the kids. I highly underestimated the difficulty of the trails. Not for 2 year olds :) My 8 and 11 year olds were fine. I should've forced my wife to go. I love the area and all the dogs that ran around were well behaved and controlled.

There were some bad ruts around "south 40" that may cause a bike trouble. If I d
