My life too was becoming an art, and an ideal, alongside poetry,
They leapt into the canvas of her portrait which came alive.
They always shared in all my discoveries whether in verse
Or in portraiture...it was always in the news...
Traitors just like I, looking for the next fix or still
I ask after him, stealing a kiss against the backdrop of the dawn sky
Actually, she has made her choice clear on many cloudless nights
He was a good kid, one she should stuck with.
I read how, recently, someone stole from his car.
That was in real life, as if taking her for a spin
Without his permission. Maybe he didn't care or maybe he did.
