each parrot has a different personality......marnie is one of a kind.....his voice is superb...most indian ringnecks that I know have a scratchy voice.....think before you get a parrot....not because you saw this vid....they are loud and need a lot of training.

Marnie's coat of feathers is so pristine. His coat is smooth and without any tears or scratches, and so perfect that he almost looks like a rubber toy instead of a real bird. How do you keep his feather coat so pefectly healthy?

I'm just lucky that he does a great job of taking care of his feathers..he gets a bath a couple of times a week and he eats his fresh foods very well..

We used to have a Jardine's Parrot; we also had a green-cheeks, a Quaker parrot (my little Lulu), and a gorgeous, intelligent, talkative (and then some!) African Grey. I miss my flock so much, but I don't miss all the work (though it was a labor of love)...or the noise! The Grey went through a car alarm and phone ringing phase. It wasn't that cute.

daughter has a green cheek conure named Nero. He is 9 months old and beginning to talk.

She works part time and a college student and knows the work that has to go into birds. :o) Always a good reminder about pet ANY pet as they take time, love and dedication from us.

Right now he seems to think he needs to see what I am doing! lol
