This looked like a fun run. How long was it? Now you see the beauty and weakness of bicycle tires. You guys looked like you were getting some good speed going, any idea how fast? If you can pick up a cheap GPS unit, they are great and accurate. I am not trying to be a stick in the mud here but ditch the bicycle helmets and get some real motorcycle helmets. At those speeds what you have on would probably do you more harm than good. Have fun, be safe.

I completely agree on the helmets. My bicycle computer registered just over 40mph on the second run where I took it easy because I didn't want my tire to come of again. The course measured 0.6 miles long.
