As long as it's optional and is not implemented as a universal web scaler it would work. I would rather see this softare become a new imageformat for the web.
Regarding your "the people who dond care" comment;
Wouldn't it be a great thing if you could "scale" all the ads and popups with this thing.
I dont think big companies would accept you doing that.

If someone resets a 1680*1050 monitor to 800*600 I think I can sufficiently say I don't care if they see any created content of mine.

What are you on? I am saying that MOST users CHOOSE a lower screen resolution, even though their monitor can handle a higher one. THAT IS THE USERS CHOICE!
I never once mentioned anything about Windows or Mac OS.

what are you trying to do?? Start a flame war between PC - Mac? your pathetic! doesn't matter what platform your on, if a computer user doesn't know how to set the screen resolution in windows, thats not going to change in OSX, in fact, its less clicks to change ress on xp then in Tiger/Leopard.
