  • Were you guys surprised that Jose Francisco Torres didn't appear off the bench? Were you even MORE surprised that Bradley didn't use all three substitutes? After Sacha's performance do you think that maybe it opens the door for Torres to get the start against El Salvador?

    P.S.

I'm not a Sacha hater. I love Sacha. He's my favorite player on the MNT. Wish he hadn't cut his hair.

  • It's not too surprising that Bradley didn't use all three of his subs. The team looked like they had the game under control, and no one was looking particularly tired, so subs weren't necessary. In future qualifiers and friendlies we'd like to see Bradley experiment more, whether it is with Torres or other players. We feel it is beneficial to give the less experienced players a look or two, especially in games that should be cake-walks. Despite his last game, I think Kjlestan is safe for now

  • i hate the idea of beasly at left back. what do you guys think of DeMerrit playing on the back line?

  • In reference to your suggestion for Demerit on the back line, we aren't opposed to seeing Bradley try this on for size. This might mean moving Bocanegra to left back, and our question would be whether or not he has the pace for it. He did play left back against Ghana in 2006 and seemed to do well. Demerit also has a knack of scoring the odd goal from a set piece; always welcome in our book. There is still lots of time to experiment with lineups, and hopefully Bradley isn't afraid to do so

  • Pearce was not a showstopper, but he did provide as much decent service as bad service. At least one or two of his crosses were very threatening, but bad luck and poor positioning rendered them ineffective. Also, not to make excuses for Mr Pearce, but the weather was an issue; no player from either team delivered consistent service from the wings in the run of play. With regard to his D, Pearce will struggle against fast and creative talent like Gio, but we think his job is safe.

  • igloo:

In our opinion, Beasley's pace and threat as a winger cant be sacrificed to capitalise on his hard work and tackling ability as a potential left back. The US has a handful of legit scoring threats and he is certainly one of that select group. Furthermore, his ability to link up with Donovan and Dempsey in combination play raises the ceiling of those players as well, not to mention his veteran presence for Sacha and the other youngsters. Thanks for the comment, and keep tuning in!

  • I think you need a guest appearance personel

  • keep up the good work

  • IMO, Heath Pearce was the worst player in the mexico game, sacha did have a bad game but Pearce got ripped apart by Dos Santos in the beginning of the game. And one of you said Pearce is a good crosser. I don't know who you guys have been watching but his crosses are terrible. But he is pretty much our only choice at left back considering Bornstein is even worse.
