A solution for the power brake issue is to run a hydraulic brake booster like many GM trucks use. That way the hydraulic booster can run off of the same pump as the power steering... electric hydraulic pumps are readily avaliable and MUCH quieter and efficient than a vacuum pump

Maybe quieter but I doubt more efficient in terms of energy use and definitely more complicated...

Right, use full hydralics on the brakes generated off electric pump. The energy efficiency is decent.

When choosing a vech to convert you would have to keep in mind no power equipment such as power steering or power brakes.

Most conversions have power brakes, unless the glider is very old. All you need to have an electric driven vacuum pump. Some even have power steering with a pump run by the main traction motor or an electric motor.

Yes that was my eD. There is only one World's Fastest and Longest Range eLectric DeLorean. Bidding went to $33,100 dollars but did not reach the reserve price of $50k. I have already made some interesting improvements and more are on the way!
