  • @AVEINMORTAL1 What?

  • ? why didnt he lay out and cut the first rock on a flat surface ? i would have used a straight edge and made up all of the pieces on the ground then fit them in the air. his second piece was longer then the first piece

  • otlvise makes moving drywall easy

  • Great video. Can't help but feel disappointed that I didn't get to see the guy finish it though. A follow up video of mudding and taping the dome with a link to it at the end of this video would have been a nice touch.

  • @mvwoon Wouldn't the dome have an undesirable flat top that way?

  • Excellent job guys...aside from myself you might be the only other guys on this earth that do this correctly.

  • @JennaHaze2000 Hi Jenna, I used a "Hopper" that is used for spraying textured ceiling plaster. Normally with styrofoam balls in it. In my case I used the hopper filled with Plaster of Paris that I mixed up somewhat "wet". Used a potato masher on an electric drill to mix it. Sprayed it after it was up. Took 10 80lb bags so I figure its 800lbs of weight. Its been installed for 7 years now and looks great. Picture at dream builder custom homes dot com

  • @dreambuilders48808 Did you spray plaster into it on the ceiling or on the ground? Did you use plater paris? My plaster always clumps up in 5 seconds.

  • @JennaHaze2000 I used an old 10' mesh satellite dish. Framed it up into the ceiling then sprayed plaster onto it using a curved form to shape the plaster to the dish. Took about 3 hours to get it done then all I did was lightly sand it smoother.
