@1tigerblood I just put this video up late last night so that's why I only have a few views on it right now. I'm sure I'll get more throughout the weekend. Did you learn anything? I hope so! Joe :0

@nutier Glad I could steer you in the right direction. I was contemplating whether or not to sell this video for 99 cents then decided against it.....since it was longer than my usual ones. Would you have paid 99 cents for it had I done that? Thanks for your comments. Joe :0

Also, I rip T&G plywood in halves to make 2X8 pieces with both tongue and groove intact. then I install the 2x8 tongue edge upside as the bottom row then I iinstall normal 4x8 T&G board on the middle row and finsih with the 2x8 groove edge down on top row.

When I see a crack on the drywall that is obviously caused by structural issues, I replace the drywall with T&G plywood boards. .. and forgert.. Peace of mind!

@junkyardnut After you install the plywood you can float it out with sheetrock mud so it looks like part of the sheetrock wall. Then you won't know the difference, after you paint it. Thanks for commenting. Joe :0

This brings back memories: Installed sheetrock in my garage with friends. It was a lot of work. The grater to smooth the edges is a great idea. I wish I had known that then.
