Larson's Nova is licensed, inspected, insured, with all the necessary legal running gear including indicators, horn, hazzards, and street-legal tread on the tires. Under what possible circumstances does your "not legal" argument hold up?

Laws dictating maximum legal tire sizes are not a problem in a free country.
And no, the fastest street-legal car is not from the UK. There are several street-legal cars in the USA that have run as fast as 6.90, and are not only street legal but were driven 1500 miles in the previous six days, so they are actually street drivable. Search for "drag week" and you'll find them.

I laugh at the tuner guys that dump alot of money into crap then stumble upon a video showing real power and speed. They realize that the 4 cylinder isnt capable of this then talk crap to try and make themselves feel better about a crappy decision. Supra even coming close? HA! kids.....jeeze. Lets go back to math class. Bigger engine= more power. So you have a turbo? V8 with turbo = more power than your 4 cyl with a turbo. No magical vagina shaped computer chip is going to beat the V8.
