Heath Ledger - Hallelujah - Anniversary Tribute

A year has passed since that sad January day in 2008. Here's my tribute to mark the first anniversary of the heartbreak and loss.

Various clips from Heath's life, his posthumous Golden Globe win, and the praise bestowed upon him from those who knew him, all set to K.D. Lang's version of the beautiful Leonard Cohen song, "Hallelujah".

For a time, he was amongst us. He beautified the world with his presence. We loved him.

Hope the sad date just passed was bearable for you. I know that it was certainly an awful day for me.

A year to the day. 'Twas so darn sad.

And I have no plans to stop making Heath videos if that is what you mean. No way! I'll do them for years to come. I have countless visions for future vids to make, believe me. :) I've yet to even do one for each film. There are plenty to come! Rest assured, my friend.

I think my heart just fell out and splatted on the kitchen floor.

I love this guy!! I can't believe I got through all of yesterday without one tear and now... now I feel like an elephant's sat on my chest. I feel just as crushed as the day it happened.

This is such a great video!! I especially like how you kept the music in the background so we could hear him talking in the interviews - thats what I like the most...he speaking. Still missing him-never forget him.

Yesterday evening I was in a room and suddenly they played the music of BBM ..... I got a little sadness in thinking about Heath and his short life and I felt the need to give him this dedication .... . You were an actor, a man and a wonderful father go away .... always the best .... Heath, rest in peace .....
