I was thinking about attending the art institutes of austin tx, is it really worth it? I heard that it really sucks and that its a waste of time? Could you give me any thoughts on your own experience. I am having troubles picking a school for an art degree. This would be much appreciated and it would help me out very much. Thank you.

what do you get in your kit?

@mrflash2691 A bunch of art supplies...it was a good amount of items...a lot I still don't know what they're for bc I didn't need them for the classes that took. I used a lot of the pencils for an observational drawing class but the kit included a few different types of scissors, paint, pencils, markers, etc.... They give you a full list on the schools website...just an FYI Texas State University has the same program and it's a lot cheaper and looks like it has more structure...I transferred

@mmmarissa1 yes I still like it, the instructors are the best...they keep you on your toes...I will just say be in the mind-frame to work because once you fall behind it can be hard catching up.
