  • why are they prostrating to that person?

  • salam :-) whirling ws practiced by the sahaba on various ocasions but not like this. i remember a hadith i red dt stated dat ahzrat abu bakr siddique whirled after hearing a certain good news from hazrat jibreel, it ws a way of showing his appreciation and happines. Whirling came from maulana rumi, it's made out from his sayings and mashalah it is an act scientifiaclly beneficial for humans and spiritually calming and pleasing 2 alah sbwt

  • mashaallah, the children are so cute, and what a pleasing sight to see such a large gathering of Muslims, trying to ingage in what is pleasing to Allah. I just don't get where 'whirling' came from. I've never heard if it was being sunnah. Can someone please clarify this for me?
