  • A bit of information here:

The Albinoni Adagio in G minor is a 1958 composition entirely composed by Remo Giazotto, which Giazotto claimed to have based on fragments from a slow movement of an Albinoni trio sonata he had been sent by the Dresden State Library.[1]

For more info please check on wikipedia.

This isn't, of course, a harsh critic of the excellent work done here but a simple specification about a common mistake in attribution.

  • @Hradrik This information is already known, but what I did for this Hooke On series was to put the titles written on the CD, which is a copyright!!

  • does anyone know the name of the 1st music,,

  • The title of every piece heard is shown below the composer's portrait! The title you look for is Pachelbel's Canon from Suite in D for 3 violins & cello

  • Were these tracks an introduction to classical music for anyone else? I remember our music teacher using them to introduce students to the music and how it kept the students involved.

  • One user, who has commented in one of my "Hooked on Classics" videos, is a music Teacher and uses these tracks for educational reasons!

  • Great Idea for teaching purposes - but one item has to be deleted - THE CLAP TRACK - real musicians will feel the beat -the ORIGINAL use for this album was a dance track in the discos - they needed the clap track for their customers to feel the beat. We suggested - has never been done! Masters in Music

  • @ensimon

ok I see and acknowledge the copyright stuff.

I still kinda apologize if the last message seemed somewhat aggressive; it wasn't meant that way:)

  • Thank you for the upload my friend, that really helps people to find their classic masterpieces!

  • @jimmymortis hahaha I know nothing of this type of music, yet, I agree with your comment! :)
