Hello on this Thursday, the 13 day of September. I'm Kristin Volk in for Rebecca Field with a UPI Entertainment Headline.
Jon Stewart is returning to host the 2008 Oscars. The "Daily Show" host will appear on February 24 in Hollywood for the 80 awards show. Stewart received mixed reviews when he hosted the 78 annual awards, with some critics saying he could have been edgier. Stewart says he's thrilled to be asked for a second time, because the third time is a charm.
Pamela Anderson says she's not taking sides in the feud between her ex-husbands Kid Rock and Tommy Lee. The rockers came to blows at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards with Rock reportedly punching Lee. Anderson says she's staying out of it and is onto another man. She won't reveal the new man in her life but does say he's a professional poker player.
Rapper Foxy Brown is not pregnant. That's according to her manager who's reportedly trying to reverse what the rapper herself said last month. Brown apparently told the New York Post that she is expecting. Instead, her manager says her newest creation will be an album, which will reportedly be released while Brown is serving her one-year jail sentence for violating probation.
New father Tom Brady says he's trying to tackle both fatherhood and football. The New England Patriots quarterback's son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was born last month. The baby's mother is ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan. Brady, who lives in Boston, says he's going to start lobbying for off days throughout the year so he can travel to see his son in L.A. more.
Hip-hop star 50 cent may be retiring if what he said last month holds true. Kanye West's new album "Graduation" sold more copies in its first day of sales Tuesday than 50 Cents' "Curtis." Fiddy told a hip-hop website that if West sells more albums than him on September 11, he'll no longer write music and put out solo CDs. No numbers are final yet, but it's predicted that West outsold Fiddy by nearly 130 units.
