Synthetic fertilizer can also kill needed bacteria in the soil, lowering yields and nutrient content, by at least 10-30%, atificial fertilizers,pesticides and gmos can be harmful to humans,environment and wildlife. I live in ontario, Canada, moved to Sarnia, ontario a few weeks ago. The closest march against monsanto, likes like to be in London, Ontaio. I no where I want to go this saturday! I wish it payed a living to be an activist, the industrial way of farming is now the obsolete way....

conventioal farming is obsolete, farctory fsarms are more efficient but the water,grown food,medications,synthetic growth hormones and resouces wasted, not to mention that on convdentional farms each worker has to work around 75% harder as well as a downsized work force. Each worker ends up working 3-5 maybe even ten times harder. Pesticides can kill beneficial insects/bacteria in the soil, that aid with plant growth.
