Jabouilles record is interesting. 6 pole positions, only 3 points scoring positions and 3 other race finishes in 49 starts !

@McLarenMercedes I think Arnoux would have had just as much if not more chance in 1982 as he was ahead of Prost in most races until he had technical issues and a couple of errors. He lead more races than anyone

had it been reliable Prost would have won the 1981, 1982 and 1983 titles with it.

Jabouille had a lot of retirements. my god, only could get points on 3 races, 2 were victories, incredible.

No it didn't, He drove sparingly for Ligier in 1981 but he was unfit and gave up the seat.
