Donald Judd once criticised Paul Feeley for basically ripping off Ken Noland's technique and just painting all the shapes that Noland had chosen not to paint. It's a shame Judd isn't around to similarly kick Gillick's arse for essentially taking Judd's shapes and arrangements and stretching them, or flattening them, or making them a bit more open-plan or otherwise altering them in slight and not very original or interesting ways.
