I have used the trailer from Digital Foundry, edited it slightly, added a quick analysis of the differences between the two games and then upscaled it to 1080p with enhanced contrast. Enjoy!

  • Good analysis and you remain unbias.

  • @DjNawo cheers

  • @KamieKeys You're clearly not english, but where I come from, "Cheers" is used as a synonym for "thanks".

  • @MGSUltimateSnake the ps2 was not zoomed in, they were both full screen, I then divided the space equally between the 3ds and ps2. There is no difference between the two trailers in terms of my trailer. However, when it comes to technical/visual appeal, that's ofc up to individuals ^_^

  • @NintendoDSin3D because it includes gameplay? Plus this was made over 8 months ago, when there wasn't any 3ds gameplay...

  • 3ds version is greater IMO the aiming and shooting is better. I can crouch walk not just run or crawl the 3d adds all the depth u would need and it's just damn fun to play it anywhere

  • The foliage is better in the PS2 version but I put that down to the considerably lower 3DS screen resolution more then anything.

  • The 3DS version looks superior it has better textures (clothing/facial definition). People forget how impressive this game was visually when it released on the PS2, now we have a visually more impressive version in a handheld just over 7 years later.

Handhelds are incredibly powerful now, the 3DS matches and even beats the Wii in some cases (Resident Evil Revelations) and the Vita already looks better then most launch 360 and PS3 releases, it can only get better.

  • 3ds just look the same but with lighter colours abit shit

  • He's right

    Ps2 is : more green

    3D is : more brown

  • @JonnyPxN haha, the "cheers" comment was pretty funny...in a stupid/ignorant way.

  • @almighty151986 i got my circle pad from revelations, i didnt believed in it before but is not that big, ds screen is small and some ppl have problems with the 3d (my bro cant see well in 3d) but many of us are used to it now and feels pretty good, is not the best game on 3ds but is not that bad, lets hope that this is like sf643d a test to see how a new mgs could do in 3ds in the future (i saw yoshi in there?) still is a game not rocket science

  • @brokenranger1 Not played it with the circle pad pro as I shouldn't have to fork out for an accessory to play a game that worked fine before. Played with 3D on and off, 3D off produces some form on introplated super sample anti-aliasing ( Resident Evil Revelations does as well ) so the game is less jaggie and smoother with 3D off but it jus doesn't help the tiny DS screen :(

  • This is what i notice,

    Ps2 is more green

    3ds is more brown

  • brings back memories of the good old mgs3 days :)

it will always be my favourite one
