i noticed the same thing,when uzbek singers sing uyghur songs ,the dancers dress like chinese (Manju or monghul )style ,it is so situpid and disgusting .

it seems our uzbek "brothers" think uyghurs are chinese and nothing to do with uzbeks or they afraid their people to find out the strong cultural similarity bettwen uzbeks and uyghurs as you said and will have doubt about their uzbek identity .

anyway,when they sing uyghur song, they should respect uyghur culture

It is diffucult now to imagine Uyghur influence in whole Asia at that time. A person who have seen Uyghur culture can realise that how colorfull how strong and deep uyghur culture is! Even Uyghurs from different parts of Eastern Turkistan have their own fashion although we all speak one language- Uyghur.

I believe the strong historical, cultural or genetical relations between uyghurs and uzbeks can't be changed, and it will continue forever, not matter how some people try to distort it. we share the same blood from our ancestors and we share each other's happyness and misery. my greetings for uzbek brothers and wish you free,prosperous uzbekistan!

@Pantekin Well first of all Uyghurs and Uzbeks are brothers and not "brothers". Secondly they dress in strange clothes when singing Uyghur songs most likely because they think that otherwise it won't look Uyghur enough. Our people have been separated for such a long time many Uzbeks have no idea what real Uyghurs dress like. They mean no disrespect to Uyghur culture many of them really don't know that our people dress almost the same. Respect to all Uyghurs, yashasin birligimiz.
