  • This patient is doing better than ever even after a couple years now. He is in his mid eighties and is still extremely active in most all ways.

  • My grandfather just had a melanoma removed in the same area. T3b, with a mitotic rate of 10 :( However, SNB showed NED!

  • @usfdude

It sounds as though the odds for his survival from this primary tumor are still in his favor...Best to him and your family.

  • well, this is a pretty good advertisement for wearing a hat against the sun's rays if you go bald young. And for earlier skin cancer diagnosis, adequate initial surgery and close follow up.

  • OUCH!

  • I have Gorlins Syndrome and have had several MOH's surgeries! I was just wondering - with regards to this gentleman, wouldn't it have been better to let the scalp grow in- where the initial MOH's was done?

  • wow
