T-Mobile Network vs. AT&T (Speedtest.net)

Before anyone comments dumb crap read the facts below.

The T-Mobile phone is a HTC MyTouch Slide running Android 2.1 with the T-Mobile update. NOT ROOTED | NOT RUNNING A CUSTOM ROM. The Slide has 4 out of 4 bars of signal

The AT&T phone is a iPhone 3G S running iOS 4.0.2 NOT JAIL BROKEN The iPhone has 4 out of 5 bars of signal.

The location is in Portland Oregon.

Also I am not bashing either networks, I do not favor one network over the other. I simiply thought it was intresting of the results.
Both networks have their strenghts and weaknesses as well as with both phones.

@VideoFinder192 Umm no. ATT has made an offer to buy Tmobile for 39 Billion. This deal will take 18-24 months to finialize. And if that all happend will probably take another 18-24months to convert Tmobile to ATT. Soo all in all were looking at 3-4 years before Tmobile is no more.

All you people who keep saying. Tmobile has doubled their network speed to 22mb/s and now 44mb/s etc. You know that really means nothing right.

All Tmobile 4G phones only have 14.4 radios except for the Galaxy S 4G it has the 22mb/s radio.

I just got the Tmobile LG G2X and have been averaging about 6-8.5mb/s down and 2-3mb/s up.

I am getting the ATT Infuse 4G soon as well, Ill post another video when i get it.

@Krolla03 actually sprint was rated number 2 in a recent survey by consumer reports. 1st was Verizon 2nd was Sprint 3rd was T-mobile and DEAD last was At&t. At&t was rated the worst network out of all the networks. Do your research before you say something Krolla03. Instead of being embarrassed.

@DavidDelacruz99 It was rated last for customer service. NOT their network. I have Tmobile and ATT and have never had any problems.

@Krolla03 That deal is already cancelled cause fcc didnt didnt let ATT buy Tmobile and ATT had to pay 3 billion to Tmobile cause of the contract signed and its sure ATT will never buy Tmobile.

I get between 8-11 MB down and 5-7 MB up on my T-Mobile MyTouch 4G here in Roswell, GA. Even on my roommates MyTouch 3G Slide, He gets on average 4-5 MB down and 1-2 MB up. It ALWAYS depends on your location. So results very drastically.
