@omgwtfbbqsauce, the last comment was between the tone zone and the evolution
-
@omgwtfbbqsauce, which is a better all around pickup for crunchy notes, and soaring leads, but still have a nice classic rock tone?

sounds too bass-y for my taste, but if that guitar is made of basswood, then I guess it works really well with it. I prefer a Super Distortion, but I like the Tone Zone's vocal wail.
either way you can't go wrong with either pickups, Dimarzio and Ibanez is the greatest couple on earth. Rock on!

Hi! very nice sound! :) i have a question though. i don't really know the difference. what would you recommend for the bridge pickup. a tonezone or maybe a paf pro? thanx:)
-
I got the same ibanez! I'm think in of the dp 155 on the neck and the dp 100 on the bridge.
-
A little bit rough some places, but overall I liked this ;)
-
@rrgert4 yup, you can!!! i have a dimarzio tone zone (bridge) on my 1991 japanese floyd stratocaster. cheers!

OK, need feedback on this one. I have an Epi LP Special II that I'm trying to get set up. I love the way the Evolution neck pickup that I have in it sounds but the bridge is just too bright for the sound I'm wanting to get from this guitar. Do you think the Tone Zone will balance/mix decently with the evo neck? Help me OMFGWTFBBQSAUCE! YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE! lol

@JPGuitarGuyFutrell Yeah the tone zone might help it doesnt have much attack as the evolutions do but the only way to really know is to try it yourself
