Thanks for the suggestion. I'd just fitted a rear sway bar to tune out a bit of understeer (which it did), but it also made it less forgiving if the rear did break loose (hence the tankslapper...)

I'm NSW-based, but hope to get back down to Winton soonish - its quite a nice track.

the best part of winton. nice work, i race a 1600 around there as well, iv made the exact same mistake except i put it into the wall to the left.

now i find getting my braking and gear change out of the way just after the 100 metre mark i can get back on the gas through the S bend, seems to work a treat

We were commenting on the way home that the flag point on the inside of the corner is more of an issue than the wall on the outside. Nicely done to miss it!
