Tawnya is right there is no justice in Family Court....THAT MUST CHANGE!!! In 2013 the DSM -IV will be updated to the DSM-V. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) is published by the American Psychiatric Association and provides a common language and standard criteria for the classification of mental disorders. We need to take action to get PAS recognized in this manual!!

I am hurting so bad from PAS. I miss my teenage children so much. My court date is next month and I just realized last week about this subject. It is happening to me. I am the targeted parent and want my children to come home. I need help with this!

Your story shows that parental alienation goes both ways. In some cases the mother alienates the child(ren) from the father, but in your case the reverse was true. Neither should happen. My parents divorced when I was 15, but my mom allowed (in fact, encouraged) me to visit my dad every now & then, right up till the day of his death when I was 23. In that way I am lucky, & it breaks my heart how many children are not so lucky. Thanks for speaking out on this very important topic.
