  • @welshfilmbuff What about John Cleese or Alan Rickman? And who could forget Ozzy Osbourne? lol

Just kidding. There IS no coolest voice in Great Britain. That's what makes it Great! lol

  • a slightly youthful john humpfurys. didnt know it was him back then. but lenny henry is still anoying! good to see this again! OH, and BLUE JACKET, the bbc does not have advertisements, but is heading that way as it is getting awful.

  • @bluejeckett I believe only BBC World carries adverts. BBC in the UK is still commercial free and is funded by the TV License. Hope that clears it up!

  • lmao I love it when Griff says "Isn't this a commericial?" and Mel says "Nah this is for something people actually want"

Thanks so much for posting taggle I'm Australian so I know and am a fan of Smith and Jones but I haven't see this.

Sad that the BBC does now have advertisement doesn't it?

Can someone give me a year for this? I'm guessing something like 1990 or 91

I've seen another one where John Cleese is in a pub with David Attenborough asking the same as Griff, thats another good one

  • I wonder how they did the "morphing"? Quantel Paintbox?

  • hahaha

at fist i saw wil, but then i looked away and i didnt notice that it changed and i was like... what?!

  • @sisterbrothers

Speaking of "In a World..." An Honorable mention should go to the late, great Don LaFontaine aswell :)

  • In the world, welshfilmbuff - possible exception of Tobin Bell (Jigsaw) !

  • Just used this clip as an example of Griff Rhys Jones speaking, to show how Andy Parsons from Mock the Week is really just a mimic of the Jones! The mannerisms, the speech etc.
