"I took a microfilm of documents from the National Cancer Institute & hand-punched sprocket holes in it so that it could be projected as a 16mm film. Thus my main contribution to this film was simply making the sprocket holes. Since this film contains 'documents' it can still be called a 'documentary'. However, this form of projection makes the documents difficult to perceive for their 'informative' characteristics - thusly making this film also not a 'documentary'." - from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE's program notes for the "Pavlovian Skinnerios at Eiszeit Kino" screening in Berlin, Germany: Mittwoch - 18. Mai '94

My 154th movie, made in 1993, 16mm silent - 3:20 @ 16fps; 2:34 @ 24fps. Thanks to Martha Colburn for giving me the microfilm in the 1st place. - April 2009EV notes from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE
