One line ROBBiE3MM was about my life. The whole post was one paragraph. Get a life A**W***! What...Do you work at a bank that went under? I was pointing out that not all check cashing places are in ghettos. Many people who are in business for themselves use check cashing. There are more options other then banks to choose from. I do wish that more credit unions were available in our area. We have only one who caters to government employees.
I know man. I use Check Cashing stores to cash my check. Banks charge more than check cashing stores do. I even use a Prepaid card as if it were my personal bank card
I use the check cashing places quit a bit. One was in a gas station. A mile down the road were gated communities with homes that are half million dollars. I pay all my bills, even my mortgage payment. The fee is on a % of your check. Less then the fees at a bank. I remember long ago getting my check cashed at a bar. They had a little iron cage. Banks had better watch it Walmart only charges $3.00 to cash your check. WHO REALLY NEEDS A BANK.
