Back in the 80s I love the music enough to actually ordered the soundtrack from Japan :D

You can easily tell that it wasn't Konami's head Gradius team that worked on this. Namely, the mispelling of 'Missile' as 'Misslie'

Good

@FusionArmorX Wow... I had actually never noticed that misspelling (which has 2 's'es by the way) of 'Missilie' in the game. Good catch :)

難いけど、解けたときの達成感は最高でした。
やっぱ、MSXversionが最高だ^^

@ThrilloVanHouten Actually, it would probably have to do more with how the game is programmed, how the MSX2 is able to process the graphics and not necessarily a fault with the resolution or type of graphics in of itself.

This is still my favorite Nemesis of them all. The power up system is just freaking awesome ^^

i remember this game and its music very well ... * sigh * especially this segment 0:28

This game had the best music out of any game from the Gradius/Salamander/Paradius series...

The end reminded me of Galaga :3

This looks a lot like the Nemesis game I used to have for my MSX. Good grief there is a lot of stuff going on on the screen at the same time!
Yeah scrolling was one of the big upgrades on the Amiga, I remember being stunned by the Amiga 500 for having super smooth scrolling, the MSX could never do that (at leas thte MSX 1). The other big upgrade is the MOD files for sound, there's only so much you can do with midi.
I have this on an MSX emulator for MAC OS8, but it's too hard! Is there turbo support?

you mean an autofire ? honestly i don't know, it depends on your emulator,
but having no use for autofire i don't know if it's in blueMSX.
anyway if you upgrade your weapon to get a laser you won't really need an autofire ;)
annd autofire wouldn't be of much help anyway, because you only have a max of 2 shots on the screen at once, you're better off aiming the enemies then fire, than fire and then aim the enemy ;)

playing on an emulator ? just configure it in msx 2+ or turbo-r and the music will be full speed :)
