COMPARE: Hollywood Strings and Edirol Orchestral

I'm not saying that Edirol Orchestral is better than Hollywood Strings from EastWest.

I made my version of the score (Courtesy of Hollywood Strings Intro) as a tribute to the makers of Hollywood Strings.

I really love Hollywood Strings.
And Edirol Orchestral, too.

Hollywood Strings...but I have to admit that the production on the Hollywood demo was spectacular so it obviously helps.

Edyrol is Very Powerful instrument it has a luck of quality in samples on high frequences but still rocks mostly thanks for his unic technology. Flutes and woodwinds are better than in any modern GB libs.

Hollywood strings wins, hands DOWN. I don't have either program but the sound quality from Hollywood strings makes Edirol sound terrible. Edirol isn't all that bad sounding really, its just that the Hollywood strings program manages to get SO close to real sounding that I don't think most people could tell the difference.
