This was a fine concert and Ella was in good voice. I love this rendition of "Mountain Greenery". No one could outswing the Queen. 62 years old and she was still making it "do what it do", to use a colloquialism :) Thanks for this great upload!

Ella being Ella. And I say this with love. Ella was known for forgetting lyrics. She really got lost with mountain greenery but her improv and swing didn't miss a beat. If you didn't know, Ella would scat a lot when she forgot lyrics. I love her.

of course i knew lol....she was awesome..But also she was one of the few who did the intro lyrics to songs, i.e. Blue Moon and so many others.
