Good episode, every bit as good as one of the live episodes. Cool to see Uhura featured so prominently, in a way that foreshadows her greater importance in the Trek movies a decade or so later. Also cool to see the phasers actually work for once.

Yes she was!! Charlie X returned to take vengeance out on Kirk & ended up changing the future. I love the ending when Uhura got married!!
