2005 mustang gt turbo 11.4 vs pontiac gto 14.2

2005 mustang gt HP performance turbo kit 39# injectors 4.10 gears and spec 3+ clutch with mickey tompson 26x11.50x17 et street drag slicks. I ran a 11.40 @ 121.6... if you turn up the volume at the end you can hear the announcer saying the 11.4... btw the gto ran a 14.2 I believe. It was a 2004

@mx5flyinmiata so you're telling me that your hatch making 367whp ran 11.2 @ 137mph? mmmk Anyway where is the waste in money? I actually have another $35,000 into the car after this video was shot. And I don't think I've wasted a dime. My car gets compliments and gets noticed wherever it goes and it's a street car that can drive to the track, run low 9's and capable of 200+mph. Yes I believe it was worth every penny! Honda's are great for kids with no money to be decently quick. That's all.

did u ever get some taller gears? I just shlapped a turbo on mine and I have 3.73's. Im debating if it's worth the money to go back to 3.55 or even 3.31's.

@witzkr I am actually in the middle of building the car for serious power (800-1000whp) and will probably step down to the 3.55's. I have been tossing around the idea of either 3.31's or 3.55's. I'm not going to lie though, I loved the 4.10's with the power level that I was at. Granted on the street it took a little longer to spool the turbo but I hardly had any lag anyway with a 60mm turbo. I still had full boost by about 3k rpms. Plus at the track 4.10's were easier on the stock driveline.

why is it you have such short gears on a turbo car?

@hugoloves2spooge I put the gears in forever ago when it was still an NA car... 4.10's were wayyy better then... I'd like to get a set of 373's for it now... The car is up for the winter, so we'll see what happens for next summer.

I thot i ran a 13.8 but i could be wrong i missed alot of gears this day. first time to the track but i did get a 13.6@94.... missing gears lol

@witzkr I was at around 11 lbs of boost and it is a manual.
