  • Calories is not that important when you are watching all of those sugars and carbs. When I did a healthy low carb diet. like watching all the refined sugars and the cakes and icecream potatoes and rice the weight begin to fall off and i felt great...

  • carrot is good to eat on a diet such as fruit and vegetables

  • 60% carbs is a healthy diet?

  • Can anyone post on livestrong? What a turd. I have less respect for the livestrong page for sure.

  • Notable Moment:

"...this philosophy is pretty much untrue." LOL

How could someone with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics be so misinformed?

  • clearly retarded

  • I am going to return daily and keep disliking this half-witted lady. Ugh.

  • I agree with mensacyclist, "you are an idiot!" Please, everyone, this woman looks like she knows what she is saying, but her data is TOTALLY wrong. Her knowledge of weightloss is of half truths. Look at the work of Dr. Mercola or Weston Price.

  • Actually, a great deal of research has gone into the Sugar Busters diet and many others like it that direct us to eat in a pre-industrial revolution way. She says any diet that says to avoid certain foods isn't based on research; then she says high protein diets are bad for the heart? Isn't she saying to avoid high protein foods? Plus, research has proven soundly that calories from some food sources are more easily burned than those from other sources. So it can't be just about calorie numbers.

  • Just more evidence we've no clue and remain just as psychotic and confused over diet, body, weight, nutrition, etc, etc.

    end of story.
