Disagree... mine is great. But if you want good footage under existing light (dim) you need to use P mode, manual exposure and exposure lock. Use manual focus and lock white balance. Forget about auto! This camera has pro features not found in other "consumer" cameras.

don't knock it on just the low light.....the camera is amazing and since u wanna use it in low light why dont u just get some better lighting and change color and all that on ur rendering program...lower contrast and such.

how the shit do you get it looking so good i have seen lots of hv20 test shoots but this is really good quality, if yoiu would be so kind as to share a few tips?

well, i filmed on full auto, which means i didnt do anything special, other than holding the shots steady and using camera support like ground and tripods when possible
