U r right brother !!
Pakistani's should pay attention to develop their country through Hard work and not through war & jihad, Pakistani leaders have filled their mind with hatred against India ...

Admirable. I hope someday a person can come on television in Pakistan and say the hindu period before Bin Qasim etc. is also part of history of the South Asian muslim. Islamic history is history of West Asia.

@gaandman "admiring the history of Islamic civilization of the region?" why would anyone want to admire an era of looting, plundering, murdering and forced conversions? history of Islamic rulers of India is barbaric.

Hasan Nisar's mum must be very proud. He is the intelligentsia of pakistan and not ppl like Orya Maqbool Jan. That guy is just a pure hater and lives in his denial bubble feeding off his ignorance spewing hatred in a cesspool of dungers.

@neerajmadhavan Well most muslims, just consider their translation of the Quran to be the best. I'd read 7 different English translations and 2 different urdu ones.
Some verses differed completely from their original Arabic versions.
Another thing the Arabic qurans are guilty of is placing a forced translation in some passages. For example I read a verse which stated "Allah placed a curse on some people (the jews)"
If you read the arabic version Jew isn't there, why put it there in English?

Pakistani scholars should study history on wikipedia rather than their lie telling history books.

@illuminatuzzz : how do you determine if the Quran u are reading was not manipulated by human hands and thoughts. and God forbid, if the edition you are reading is indeed manipulated by human hands, how would u know it?

i pray for mr nisar's long life... i fear this truth telling would get him shot soon... may allah protect him...
PART 2:
A central - and recurring - theme in Islamic history is (a) betrayal of Muslims by fellow Muslims, and (b) separation of interests of individual from those of state. For example, the English would never have been able to take Bengal but for the betrayal of ruler of Bengal by his generals. It is also instructive that Muslims still cannot conduct themselves in the manner of Sir Thomas Roe (UK ambassador to India in 1600s) who equated his state's interests with his personal ones.

PART I:
I salute Mr. Nisar for (a) clarifying the difference between Islam and Islamic history, (b) exposing the myths of Islamic history, and (c) pointing out distortions in official Pak history. How a faith is practiced is different from how people of that faith have governed in history. In general, Muslim leaders have been corrupt, unjust, and capricious (even during halcyon days of Muslim empires). Pak is guilty of severe distortions in history of Partition, India, and its wars.
