SIngers Unlimited..... such pure ear candy! Everything they've recorded. LOVE IT!
I was lucky enough to have sang this arrangement, among many other Puerling gems.
There are only a small handful of arrangers who can hear and write down those cool, intricate harmonies!
.....and Silent Night was pretty basic compared to other tunes.................yet still........Pure Magic! :-D

@tunesmith09 ...A year late to your question, but, yes, that is the original art for both the vinyl LP and the CD. I've owned them both for many years, bought them upon release, and with the tenderest of care the LP still has that warm and wonderful sound many of us miss in this day of super-hi-tech. 'Carol of the Russian Children' is my ultimate favorite. RIP Len and Gene...you are sorely missed.

Bonnie Herman: possibly the greatest female voice on the planet. And absolutely gorgeous.

This is the original album cover from the vinyl release 1972 recorded in Germany and as I recall (I've got the original somewhere) where MPS is was BASF?

Brilliant! Awesome! Even though their harmonies get pretty complex from a certain point on, Let's say 1:32. I still is all clearly understandable for the avreage listener. These guys still communicate instead of complicating thigs just for the sake of it.
The Singers Unlimted were the inspiration and the teachers for "Take 6", the best vocal group ever. But Take 6 go for something else. The Singers Unlimited will always have a place in our hearts and in history. Perfection!

This is the CD I own...AWESOME!...TSU were(are) so special...wish I could see the original album cover...doubt it would have been a tiny artificial Christmas tree in a flower pot! Yes, I am grateful I can still purchase their music, but I don't know who comes up with these "stinky-doo-dah" covers for re-released albums and CDs...how about using a Norman Rockwell or Currier and Ives cover...or something romantic or "Christmas Eve-y"?

It's the best version of Silent Night ever! It's sung the way it was first sung the first time it was heard in Austria in 1818!
