Taking a small ship expedition cruise to Antarctica is like no other cruise. An Antarctic cruise is an adventure from the beginning. Setting sail from Ushuaia begins the voyage along the Beagle Channel and out onto the Drake Passage. From there you may head south directly to the Antarctic Peninsula or maybe sail east to the Falklands and South Georgia first depending on your itinerary.

You'll see amazing wildlife throughout your cruise including seabirds such as Albatrosses and Petrels, whales and of course penguins. Not only that but you will be treated to the most extraordinary landscapes and seascapes too. Giant icebergs and towering snow covered mountains will greet you each day. You'll meet a lot of great people too and be well taken care of by the ships crew and staff and be in the capable hands of expert guides for all your landings on the islands and continent itself.

The guides will be there to introduce you to the flora and fauna of this wonderland as well as answer any questions you might have.

If you are planning to take a trip to Antarctica and want to know how to get there then we would be happy to help. We are Polar Travel Specialist and can arrange your entire trip for you or you may wish to join one of our group trips which are a great success.
