FIX:
take the whole back plate off, access the fan and clean it out.
mine was the same way and now runs like new.
if that doesnt work replace the fan

Guys I have the same problem with my sony vaio laptop, every fucking 3 seconds strange noise coming from somewhere CPU fan or motherboard, just rack my head each time I switch on.
very recently I brought it the sony service, after 5 weeks waiting they just reinstall all the softwares which i could do myself.
Any one could help me please ?

Fuck you Sony. I bought your CS laptop in Taiwan before going back to New Zealand for university. Your stupid warranty is only limited to being in Taiwan, but I trusted I would not need the warranty considering Sony brand are usually of high quality. And now this shit happens to my laptop and it's costing me a fucking fortune to get it repaired here in NZ fuck that.
