Terrible vowels...no movement...drummer was a bit off. I don't think they were ready for a performance...good tone quality, bad technique.

Too many dead faces, except for the soloists... They look very unenthusiastic. Also, the last notes should be accelerated, because they're dying out. But overall, I think this is good for a junior high choir!

Oh, and also, the first female soloist was fantastic. It's so hard to sing solos even in front of small groups... I finally watched a video from a song that I did a solo for... I sucked!!! I couldn't believe(ok, I could) how bad I sucked. =(

Thank you to the person who posted this video. My choir has a practice of this song(same arrangement and all that, I'm following the music as I watch it) and since I've never heard it before in my life, it's a big help. Thanks!

(I was in the choir when we performed this)
Our director, Mr. Nathan, usually has a good ear for solos. In this, though, the choir chose the soloist.
And before you go out there saying our soloists suck, why don't you try standing in front of an audience of about 500? Anyone who can do something like that is talented.
