Weight Watchers Corn Dog Casserole
[For Chic Chat blog]

This is an easy, quick, kid-friendly recipe which packs a huge flavor punch.
Enjoy!

RECIPE:

Corn Dog Casserole
Servings: 6 [8]
Points: 7 [5]

Ingredients:
~1 cup finely minced celery
~1/4 c. diced sweet onion
~14 oz. Oscar Mayer turkey dogs
~1 8.5 oz. Jiffy corn muffin mix
~1 egg white
~1/2 c. skim milk
~1/4 c. water
~1/4 tsp. black pepper
~4 oz. shredded reduced fat cheddar cheese

Instructions:
Spray skillet with butter flavor cooking spray. Saute celery and onion for 5 minutes. Slice hot dogs into thin discs and add to skillet. Cook over med-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes. Add turkey chili and heat through. Spray 11x7 pan with cooking spray. Pour skillet contents into pan. Top with cheese. Combine muffin mix, egg white, milk, water, and pepper; pour over hot dog mixture. Bake uncovered @ 400 degrees for 25 minutes.

  • Sounds good, but I HATE celery! Can I omit it and just use the onion, or do you believe I need to throw another "green" in there, for some bulk?

  • This is a pretty decent meal i tried to make other weightwatcher recipes only 2 so far and this is the best probably cause its more points but hey its actually good.

  • this is really bad.. don't believe what you read on the tin, buy organic food, eat fresh salad, not tinned food its full off salt, if you like casserole use courgettes or something different than sliced reanimated meat.
