thanks for the upload. it`s amazing that capital records big wigs refused to put this out as a single. the highwaymen proved them wrong.

I prefer Webb's singing this with piano alone.(nothing against Campbell)
just as I prefer Nyro rather than those who made her work famous.

I am just now discovering Jimmy Webb. It has always amazed me how songwriters can be so unknown, yet so known. Some of these writers are way richer than the people they write for!

Thanks for Sharing, I think Glen Campell's voice is suited form this ballet. Different tone, but Equal too any effort by Cash, Jennings or the others.
