@stefanielorimer You may be right, but I doubt it. I have read much of the bible, but it is such a difficult book to read, that I haven't finished it. It is loaded with filler and is all over the place, refers to books that have been left out and internally inconsistent. Either way, the book sucks.

@christo930 no, he didn't the verse you are referring to (and that seems to be making the internet rounds at present) is used in an illustrative story which features a master and servants. This is not illustrative of our relationship with Jesus (God). We are His CHILDREN, not His servants. Please read the original source before repeating stuff out of context.

Don't have a Bible on your bookshelf, have it in your heart. But if you really want some good reading, check out The Great Controversy by Ellen White. Everything thats goin on now in our country, she wrote about over 100 years ago
