@Waymore15 And it was written -- as a show tune -- the year before Hank was born. His recording, ca. 25 years later, followed several other recordings/arrangements in the '20s & '30s but became the biggest hit version and basically "the definitive" version.

Contrary to popular belief, this is not originally a Hank Williams song, but nonetheless a wonderful version.
