"DARUMA-OTOSHI" I translated "hitting away box by box" because this is what they do when playing this Japanese traditional game toy.
Actually it's not box they use, they use round shaped wooden block. They pile them up and make tower. Then player take turn to hit away block at the bottom of the tower by wooden toy hammer tring not to knock them down. I guess whoever knockdown loose the game. They call it Daruma-Otoshi(Otoshi = knock down) because they place block with face of beard man called DARUMA at the top of tower.

It bothers me a lot that being lead into the first line, the composition sounds a bit weird. Then in the third line of the first verse, it always snaps back into rhythm suddenly.

Atfer listening to the first ~10 seconds repeated, I realise what was wrong. The first beat is silent. The accompaniment in the intro starts on the second beat.

The song starts as "rest thump rest thump" instead of "thump rest thump rest"

All those days of lockstep "pe pop pe pop" wasted on me.
