From the 1983 Atlantic Records release, "Pump The Nation". Featuring vocalist Cindy Mizelle, this group was majorly underrated. But, this single was very popular among Dallas DJ's back in the day! Enjoy, everyone.

  • Thank you, thank you...so,so much...I've been looking for this for so,so long, since I was A kid.I never knew the name or the singer who sings this timeless shit.I didn't even know the name of the Crew. And now thanks to you,I can rest, and enjoy when a time so long ago,was the best of times of fun,and happyness.Everything was good and fun.My Mom's,my Sister, and my Boy Jim M...was alive...Thank you again.

  • @ricoladon Wow, that really warms my heart! This song definitely takes all of us back to better days!

  • Okay, obviously someone has nothing better to do.....why in the world would you wnat to dislike this song???

  • Oh my god, this song was the best song ever to skate on, we kicked it back in the day at all the rollers rinks, and yes may U-Shay rest in peace, i remember lock in's at the Twilight in Pleasant Grove. And if a club was open we were there, City Lights, Fat Sally's, Bernards, RJ's, 220, Stars, Old Beamers, and i can go on and on. I'm sure alot of us might know each other.

  • @Felicialynn2001 Oh my goodness, no you did not say 220!!! Man, I haven't heard that club mentioned in years. It's so amazing how many great memories this song brings back in Dallas......

  • had no idea so many people from dallas associate with this song. I, born in the era of "good music" ('78), I can confirm with everyone else, this is the essence of dallas, ft. Worth and the entire metroplex. Man, dr. Rock. I had a tape recorder ready for him every saturday night @ 10pm. We, of Dallas, TX thank you infinitely and immensely ;)

  • @centim6 it's funny, I wonder if Cindy Mizelle or anyone from that group knows that we just "took" their song and made it all ours, lol!!! But, if I'm out of town and I hear this song, I immediately become homesick!

  • @centim6 Dump the Funk! As soon as I read you saying Dr. Rock & K104...I knew that you know. I was there my sister was there & you are so right (God forgive us) we didn't know it then, but we know it now, (as you said) that was the era of great music. I'm not living down there in D- & Cowtown anymore (Seattle, WA now) but glad to see am not the only one who remembers & yearns for those days once more. Thanks God for the memories, I am AOW042970 Peace!
