Nick's POV:
(A.N. Yes. I know. It's about time. But you're not going to get much of Nick's pov's because the story mainly focuses on Allie)
I didn't know how to answer that question. I don't even know if there IS a straight answer for that question! Qhwn she walked into this room and sighed so happily, even though she KNEW she was going to be shunned by those girls, my heart felt like it would burst out of my chest. Why? I have no idea. This girl is driving me crazy. I feel so whole just being with her every second of every day, even though she's the reason why I HAVE to be with her.
Whenever I make her laugh, I feel this warm, healthy, happy glow inside my chest, even though, yeah, I'm... dead.
And, when I saw the way she liiked at that COLIN jerk... I seriously felt like screaming.
Oh.My.God. I'm falling in love with Allie. No. This CAN NOT be happening ! And that means that I really AM jealous! But she definitely doesn't feel the same way. I can't let her know how I feel. If I'm going to have to be with her for who knows how much longer, I have to make sure that I don't humiliate myself.
Uh oh. I just left her question hanging. Quick! Answer before she assumes you're jealous!
"Jealous. Me? Psh. No. Definitely not... I'm just... being protective."
Allie's POV:

Okay, test it out! Umm.... CHEESE IS THE COLOR OF YELLOW OR ORANGE! Okay, he didn't react to that random outburst. He can't hear me.
How awful would it sound if I said that I kind fo secretly wanted him to be jealous?
Because if he was jealous, then maybe that would mean that he liked me. But why would I care if he liked me or not? I mean, it's not like I'm actually crushing on Nick... right?
I mean... there is a slight possibility that maybe I've had dreams of his chocolatey brown eyes, his sweet smile. His soft laughter...
Does that mean that I may... feel something? More than just friendship?
All this questioning is pointless. He will never like me, and even if he did, he's dead, and I'm alive. It could never amount to anything.
Unblock.
"Okay, well, you were just acting REALLY weird, Nick. Please just let me flirt with this guy, it's not a big deal."
"Do whatever you WANT Allie, I don't care." He snided. Just then, Dee walked into the room.
"Hey Allie, can I talk to you?"
