The problem is the countries buying our land do not reciprocate open access to their wealth creating assets that we naively allow. This is an issue of sovereign risk, and national as well we food security. The government should put an immediate moratorium on the sale of our land and food assets till there is a clear strategic national food policy developed by Australians for us not the foreign interests who buy our wealth and take profits off shore before tax - we are poorer for it.
