Built in a few weeks for a WWI combat event, this 1918 Caproni Ca.42 triplane bomber was to tow a ribbon for enemy fighters to attack and friendlies to defend. The event never happened. The plane had a 6 foot wingspan, three Saito .30 four strokes - one pusher and two tractors (sounded like music), six ailerons, 3 full flying rudders and actually flew pretty well once I got the hang of it. It landed terribly and I never did get the hang of that.
